Ready for another Sunday update from my soon to be spin instructor turned Dietician? Last week sounded really exciting! She informed me that she started working with a few chefs to learn the administrative duties of a Dietician, such as ordering food, inventory, and cost reports. Also, throughout the internship she will be jumping from various hospitals to see the different food service operating procedures, and towards the end of the internship she will be working closely with various chefs to plan, coordinate, and organize a themed menu for the hospitals! Isn’t is funny when you start to understand why certain things happened in your life? After she told me about the menu theme, I thought “Wow! As a morale officer while stationed in Anchorage I planned, coordinated, organized over 20 different events for Coast Guard personnel. Maybe that is why the Lord put me in that position….to prepare me for this new career.”
