Tip of the Day
Many grocery stores offer nutrition tours designed for children. Grocery shopping can be a good way for kids to learn about health and nutrition. Minimize stress by choosing a shopping time that works best for everyone. Don’t go hungry. You’ll all be a lot happier if you shop on a full stomach. Ask your children to help you find healthy foods that offer good value for price. Encourage your children to choose a healthy item they’ve never eaten before, such as a new local fruit or vegetable. Check with your local grocery store to see if they offer nutrition tours designed for kids.
“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.”
