Tip of the Day

Eating fiber, nuts and fish helps improve cholesterol levels. Making healthy food choices can help manage high blood cholesterol. When planning a heart healthy diet, include a variety of higher fiber foods such as barley, oats, vegetables, fruit, and legumes. Cutting back on foods high in saturated and trans fat is also important. Unsaturated fats found in foods, such as nuts, olive and canola oil are heart healthy and can be enjoyed regularly in small amounts. Fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel and trout are high in omega 3 fats, and is also a heart healthy choice.

Daily Inspiration

Angles are beings who help people against evil forces. They perform certain duties, without which we could not always be able to achieve a certain goal or station in life. Angels are just one more example of how God cares for and protects us against the forces of Satan, which are constantly trying to defeat us.

”The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.”

Psalm 34:7
